Premier’s VersaNest™ Laying Box is designed to allow easy access from either the front or back. Sloped floors allow freshly laid eggs to roll-out into a separate compartment, keeping eggs clean from manure and other nesting material.

Benefits:
  • Eggs roll down full-length nesting pads into a collection tray, away from the hen.
  • Collection tray can be mounted to either the front or rear of the nest.
  • Use as a community nest (like our EcoNest Colony Box) or install the included dividers for a segmented nesting box (for shy hens).
Available in 2-hole or 4-hole capacities for medium to large flocks.

Choosing the Right Capacity
The answer depends on the number and size/age of the birds and how often you prefer to fill the feeders or waterers. Refer to our helpful comparison charts.

We prefer to have a one day supply of feed and water for our flocks. Being short on water results in dehydrated fowl, but having more feed than the bird’s can eat invites rodents and sparrows. Always check your birds at least once per day.
