Cutting and splicing Electronet

Hi there - I'm planning on installing Electronet around the perimeter of an existing paddock that is fenced with wooden rails. There are a few existing gates that I need to deal with in the installation and I'm going to have to cut a 164' roll to accommodate one of those gates. Can I splice it easily to the next roll on the other side of the gate?
