- Insulated cable is 24" long
- Stainless steel wing nuts and bolts
Installation
- Loosen wing nut on one connector.
- Slide ends of both conductors to be connected into connector, one in top and the other on the bottom.
- Re-tighten wing nut.
- Repeat on 2nd line.

We installed our Endurasoft 6.0 rope fence 7 years ago. Maybe a few years in we started to get burnt rope issues, but just a few. Now it’s happening at a more rapid pace … or maybe it’s just been a slow burn that is showing up now. I just keep moving the links out to fresh rope but now I’m at the “end of my rope” as the wire can’t stretch any further to connect good rope to good rope. So I guess I’m going to have to start replacing rope. If there’s a solution to fix this and avoid the rope burning I’d love to hear it.

I love these things. Striping coated wire and twisting it around electric polyrope always yields burned polyrope for me, even when i tried wrapping it with the ropelink. These make good, solid, attractive looking connections that have held up nice over the last year since I started using them. Everytime i place an order, I buy one or two so I can slowly replace all my burnt out coated wire connections.
