I love these classic waterers. They are perfect for 3-6 adult bantams or several chicks. The conical shape of their top prevents roosting on the waterer, the wide base helps prevent tipping and the narrow trough is perfect for tiny chicks as it helps minimize drowning. They are press fit and as long as you press them all the way down you can grab them by their tops without having to worry about the base falling off. The flexibility of the top and the fact you simply press fit it together with the base makes it easy to clear ice in the winter too. Conventional waterers with tabs that lock in place often have ice freezing on or in the tabs, making it difficult to open or close during freezing weather — but as I said it is not an issue with these. This is what I use for all my pair and trio pens.

These are hard to put on and keep the water in them. When trying to get bottom on top it wants to push water out.

The watered arrived broken. The outside package was pretty beat up. I was thankful more items were not broken. Customer service was very helpful and refunded the purchase of the waterer after I sent them a photo of it. I decided not to get another one as it appeared cheaply made and opted to purchase one locally to save everyone shipping costs.

Super simple, easy to clean and does not leak. Excellent for chicks. For 30 chicks it lasts all day for their first 3 weeks. After that you may need to have a larger waterer or get two of these.

I’ve used these waterers in my brooders for a while now and find them really easy to clean, chicks use them fine and the narrow rim actually collects less bedding in the water than my previous waterers. Very happy with these.
