These things are spendy, but worth it. Chickens, turkeys, goats, dogs all prefer to drink out of these. They have been trouble free with no leaks. We connect them with a hose to 200 gal portable water tanks that we move with forks.

I purchased this to water my chickens, it works perfectly and does not leak. This is a game changer when it comes to watering. I was tired of constantly cleaning out the waterers, now I simple brush it and empty daily and let it refill.

The fittings aren’t quite water tight. It drips constantly. Makes too much of a mess in the chicken run.

I really like these waterers. They’ve made my life a lot easier for my chickens and my sheep when it’s not freezing temperatures. I think the only thing that I have to complain about is the first ones that I bought were nicer and cheaper in price and they had brass hose attachments. Now they come with plastic hose attachments which seem to break a lot easier. I would suggest switching them to brass when you buy them. Do not use with pigs; they destroy them.

I purchased this for my chickens and turkeys. I have an IBC tote that sits on cinder blocks and gravity feeds to this waterer. Went from watering chickens everyday to once a month.
